Technical Designer

Own tech packs, fit, and construction detail for premium apparel and bags across a small portfolio of brands.

UNCVRD builds product for premium brands out of Saigon, Vietnam. The Technical Designer sits between design intent and factory reality, translating sketches and references into tech packs a factory can execute without guesswork.

This is a hands-on role on a small team. Every style that moves through the platform carries a name on it.

What the role owns

Tech packs end to end: spec sheets, BOM, construction callouts, grading, and revision control inside UNCVRD OS.
Fit sessions with the sampling team, measurement analysis, and clear factory comments per round.
Material and trim detail alongside sourcing, including lab dip and strike-off review.
Direct communication with factory technicians on construction questions.

What we look for

Three or more years in technical design or product development for apparel, bags, or accessories.
Fluency in construction terminology and the ability to spot a spec that will fail on the floor.
Comfort working directly with factories and reading their pushback accurately.
Precision under revision pressure. Version discipline matters more than speed.

Nice to have

Experience with technical outerwear, structured bags, or performance materials.
CLO 3D, Illustrator, or comparable pattern and sketch tooling.
Vietnamese or Mandarin.

How we work

Based in Saigon, on-site with the production team. Visa and relocation support available for the right candidate. Compensation is discussed in the first conversation.
